Epic Games took to Twitter to announce the arrival of the PlayStation Cup for PS4 and PS5 players. It mentioned the prize pool to be $107,100 for each of the two cups! The Playstation Cup begins in Fortnite on November 11, 2021.
“Sign up in-game for a new Fortnite PlayStation Cup kicking off Nov. 11, with a $100,000+ global prize pool,” tweeted @PlayStation.
Some players might have taken part in the previous Playstation Cups, so they would know exactly how this works. Anyways, the exact time the event varies from region to region, so here’s a detailed chart of the same:

How to Enter the Cup?
Like most cups in Fortnite, Playstation Cup will have no particular registration process. Still, you have to take care of the following things:
- You will need to do some account admin before entering
- Enable 2-Factor Authentication
- You will need to be over 13 years of age but must be 18+ to play without parental consent.
- In case you have any reports of bad behavior on your account, you will not be allowed to play.
- The most important thing to note is that you must own a PS4 or PS5 device to participate.
- When the Cup is live, change the game mode over to the PlayStation Cup.
Beat the opponents, land in the top 64 spots, and be a prize winner!
Format and Prize Pool
You will need to play a maximum of 10 matches within a 3-hour period and collect points for both placement and eliminations. The top 100 players in each region will progress to round 2 where you need to be in the top 64. There are only cash prizes awarded in PlayStation Cup which you’ll receive according to your rank. Following are the prizes you’ll receive according to rank and region:
