Fortnite: Rick Grimes Skin Coming This Halloween, Walking Dead Crossover

Epic Games is ringing in Halloween Fortnite as it teases us with brand new crossover characters. Amongst these new crossover characters, one that sticks out is Rick Grimes from AMC’s The Walking Dead. While we haven’t received confirmation from the develop-publisher, the in-game tease that we received gives us a sneak-peak of his famous hat.

• On 5th October 2021, the Universal range of the official Frankenstein’s Monster crossover started. We expect Rick to show up in this game later this month.
• We get a glimpse of the iconic Sheriff’s hat along with some glances of other characters like the new Ghoul Trooper.
• It seems that Rick’s hat has been through some stages as it gets passed on to Carl, Judith, and now maybe there are loopers kind of everywhere.

Fortnite x Walking Dead

These teases and glimpses have come up following a rumor that floated around. Earlier this year, there were hints about Epic’s new collaboration with AMC for Walking Dead surfaced. Given that time, we were kept entirely dark as to which character would make its debut in this game.

We could only guess with Daryl and Michonne’s entry last year in the game. The most plausible candidates would be Rick and his rival Negan.

But now our doubts have been somewhat put to rest; as we now know that Rick is featuring in this game. And when Rick is introduced and turn up at the Item Shop, we should most probably expect his “post-apocalyptic cohorts to be re-offered alongside him.”

This would mean that all the Walking Dead fans can get their hands on the whole trio of the survivors, maybe sometime soon this month. Well, for now, let’s the timer begin for the Fortnitemares 2021 reveal, which will have a brand new story chapter in the cube invasion. It will also have some new Creative maps, and much much more!
