Fortnite: Update v19.20, Patch Notes
Fortnite had launched the update v19.10 just two weeks before. The update introduced Klombo and brought the return of Tilted Towers. Moreover Last week, the Pizza Party item, allowed players to heal up to 100 health and 50 shields.
Now the popular game is all set to roll out the update 19.20. This update will bring a lot of new content to the game, including characters, collaborations, bug fixes, new weapons, and more.
The new Fortnite update was released February 1st, 2022.
Covert Cavern POI
This is a brand new POI that has appeared deep inside the mountains near Camp Cuddle!
Moreover, a new powerful Mythic boss has been introduced, Gunnar. He’s got a powerful Mythic version of the Stinger SMG to claim.

The Heavy Shotgun has been unvaulted as part of the 19.20 update. You can find it on the ground, in chests both common and rare, or from Supply drops.
Haven Mask

In update 19.20, you will be able to unlock all the masks of Chapter 3 Season 1 Battle Pass Outfit Haven!
You can unlock the Haven’s Mask by Collecting Feathers in Chests around the Island, then spend your Feathers in the “Haven’s Masks” section of the Battle Pass tab. Each mask has a special Quest for you to complete to make the mask available to redeem.
Competitive Notes
- The Mythic Stinger SMG is not included in competitive playlists.
- As our heads-up stated last week, Spider-Man’s Web-Shooters now have 20 shots instead of 80 in competitive playlists. This lower count is to encourage more strategic decisions about when to use the item while retaining the item’s usefulness as a powerful mobility tool.
Major Bug Fixes
- The new update has fixed an issue involving the visual indicator for using a Reboot Van appearing at a greater distance than the sound could be heard.
- Fixed an issue involving matches sometimes not being recorded during a tournament session and the points earned in those matches becoming lost.
- Fixed an issue involving Spider-Man’s Web-Shooters dropping from eliminated players with a full stock of uses even if it didn’t have a full stock before the player was eliminated.
XP

Fortnite is going to improve the XP Beyond Battle Royale experience! Creative Experiences undergo “calibration” before they begin granting Battle Pass XP from your in-game Accolades. Now with v19.20, if a player has triggered an Accolade before calibration was complete, they’ll be rewarded with XP once the Experience is calibrated!
