The registration phase for the 1.7 Beta Test has started, according to miHoYo on the official Genshin Discord. This is how you can enlist!
This time, instead of using a Google Form, the CBT is advertised on the hoYoLab website. It’s also worth noting that miHoYo did not clearly indicate that it is the registration for the 1.7 Beta.

How To Register
To get started, go to the HoYoLab page listed below. As you finish the registration, please ensure to double-check your details. After you’ve submitted it, you won’t be capable of changing anything.

- Please be aware that this is just the first phase in the Beta screening process.
- Finally, keep in mind that if you are chosen, you will not be allowed to share any data or information obtained during the Beta.
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) are serious business. When you qualify for the Beta, you are indicating that you want to help out and test things while remaining anonymous.
Patch 1.7 Release Date + New Leaks
If miHoYo continues to operate in the same manner, the 1.7 Beta Test should begin in mid-June. We could see the first data-mining leaks in late June 2021.
If the 6-week timetable holds, Patch 1.6 will be released on the 9th of June. Then, followed by 1.7 on the 21st of June 2021. According to the most recent leaks, Baizhu and other Dendro characters, such as Yaoyao, are unlikely to be out relatively soon.

Since March 2021, I've worn two hats at Spiel Times: a writer and a Managing Editor. In my writing role, I've earned recognition from Wikipedia and Nev Schulman (Catfish TV Show host) for my insightful analysis and engaging narrative style. I'm passionate about all things gaming, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for uncovering hidden secrets within games. My gaming journey began at a young age, captivated by titles like Resident Evil and Tomb Raider. Today, I enjoy exploring open-world RPGs and MMORPGs, consumed by their lore and crafting theories about their narratives. I'm also drawn to the suspenseful atmosphere of horror games and the intricate narratives of crime-themed titles, bringing a unique perspective to my writing. Beyond gaming, I have a fascination with anything unexplained and chilling, a passion that often spills over into my exploration of horror games. When I'm not engrossed in a virtual world, you can find me curled up and spending time with my adorable doggy sidekick, Teemo. As Managing Editor, I'm committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for our writing team. I communicate openly with my team members, addressing any content-related issues and providing guidance to help them excel.
