After Genshin Impact 2.7 dropped, a new limited-time event is available for Travelers. Here is the complete event guide for Genshin Impact 2.7’s Perilous Trail event.
What is the Perilous Trail event in Genshin Impact?
Travelers need to conduct deeper investigations surrounding the mysteries of The Chasm. And with the Perilous Trail event, Travelers need to fight against powerful enemies. This event takes place in the Realms of Guile and War domains. Moreover, you can use trial characters to aid you in battle. However, there are certain mechanics for each domain that you have to consider before deploying the team you want.
Event Details
Perilous Trail event in Genshin Impact began along with the launch of Version 2.7. The event will be until June 20, 2022. However, the Event Shop is only available from May 31 to June 27, 2022.
Moreover, there are four phases in the Perilous Trail event. From May 31 until June 3, the phases will be available and Travelers have the rest of the event duration to beat the domains and collect rewards.

How to unlock Perilous Trail in Genshin Impact
To unlock Perilous Trail, Travelers need to be at least at AR 28. Moreover, they need to finish the Archon Quest – Chapter 3: Act 1 and the Spiritstone Quest. If you haven’t finished the Spiritstone Quest, it is available through the Chasm Delvers questline.
In Perilous Trail, Travelers team up with familiar characters like Itto. It is recommended that you finish Itto’s story quest first so you can fully immerse yourself in the Perilous Trail quest. However, this is not required so if you plan on playing through this event as quick as possible, you can just focus on completing the prerequisite quests.
Event Rewards
Finishing the Perilous Trail event will reward you with the 4-star bow called Fading Twilight. Additionally, you also get the refinement material to level up this weapon by completing the event. And similar to other past events in Genshin Impact, you are rewarded with Event Currency you can use to redeem rewards.
How to complete Perilous Trail in Genshin Impact
Throughout the whole duration of the event, Travelers unlock different Phases. After a phase is unlocked, a Domain unlocks as well. Each Domain in Perilous Trail features trial characters you can use to help in completing the challenges per domain.

| Direcliff Court | Select 1 character to continue on, while everyone else will be rendered unable to proceed. |

| Kaleidoscope Cage | Two party members will be selected at random and will enter recuperation mode. |

| Insurgent Twilight | All party members will have to recuperate for 1 round. During this time, they will not be able to be deplyoed again. |

| Utmost Deception | One member of the current party can be selected to continue on, while everyone else will enter recuperation mode for 2 rounds, within which they cannot be deployed into battle. |

Recommended settings per Domain
If you don’t know what teams to deploy for each Domain in the Perilous Trail event, here are some suggested parties you can try out. However, it still depends on your playstyle so make sure to utilize each member well. Moreover, you also need the proper Stratagems to make the challenges easier to finish.
