The First Anniversary

The first-anniversary event is also rumored to give away a free character of unknown rarity, introduce a banner consisting of a new character, and a rerun of an old 5-star character. Another rumor suggests that from the start of first anniversary, Genshin Impact will be moving forward with a new protagonist. It will portray Lumine as the main protagonist instead of Aether. Also, rumor has it that the event might revolve around Ganyu and Keqing, two of the most important personalities in Liyue. This means some cosmetic items for these two characters can be expected as well.

Apart from all this, you can also expect some new weapons, a boost in drops of artifacts, and level-up materials in the upcoming anniversary event. But again, we’ll ask you to not raise your hopes up as most of these things are speculations and rumors. The fact is that no one knows how miHoYo might celebrate Genshin Impact’s very first anniversary.
