Genshin Impact: Fantastic Compass Puzzle Guide
In the latest event for Genshin Impact 2.7, Travelers need to enter a new space for the End of the Line Quest. In this guide, we will show you how to use the Fantastic Compass.
Fantastic Compass Puzzle Guide in Genshin Impact
To complete this puzzle in Genshin Impact, Travelers have to rotate the needles on the Fantastic Compass. Moreover, it can only move in two ways: forward and backward.
However, you choose to rotate it depending on the time you want to travel to. And since it’s a time-traveling mechanism, the only way to unlock other needle positions on the Fantastic Compass is by going back to the past to change some things.

Fantastic Compass New Space
There are 5 New Spaces on the Fantastic Compass. However, you can only access New Space 1 and New Space 2 when you first unlock the compass. For New Spaces 3 and 4, you can only unlock them after finishing some puzzles. And for the last New Space, it automatically unlocks once you finish with the first four New Spaces.
New Space 3 – Stuck in the Trees
If you look at the Fantastic Compass, you can see a tree sapling growing near it. This is the reason why the needle is “stuck in the trees”. To fix this, do the following steps:
- Rotate the needle backward to New Space 1 and go through the portal
- Destroy the tree sapling growing near the Fantastic Compass
- Rotate the needle forward to New Space 2 and go through the portal again after destroying

- If you don’t see the tree sapling near the Fantastic Compass again, rotate the needle forward
- Then, go through the portal again. Afterward, you can now move the needle forward to New Space 3

New Space 4 – Has Touched the Ground
If earlier the tree sapling got in the way of New Space 3, now you have to find a way to lift the Fantastic Compass off of the ground. To do this, go through the portal once the needle is pointing at New Space 3. Then, do the following steps:
- Defeat Bosacius as Xiao

- Then, go through the New Space Doors but don’t do anything
- Look to the right and pull the lever near the gate

- Make your way back to New Space 3
- If you see a cobweb near the gate, then you successfully solved this puzzle
- Kill the spider and rotate the needle backward twice

- Finally, you have unlocked New Space 4
How to complete
After you finish all the puzzles mentioned before, you can now go to the Fantastic Compass again. Then, point the needle to New Space 5 or the one located in the lower right of the compass. Then, go through the portal once more.

Open the chest and collect your rewards. After exiting the domain, you have now completed the Fantastic Compass puzzle in Genshin Impact.
