Recent leaks from the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit showed new screenshots of The Chasm. The new region, expected to arrive in March, will be available in Update 2.6
The Chasm is expected to release in the same patch as Kamisato Ayato. Countless leaks have already come out about the new region, but just last week, new pictures of The Chasm greeted travelers.
The Chasm features an upside-down area in its region.
Aside from the new world boss, leaks about The Chasm show a strange place that seems to be upside-down.
In the screenshot, a teleport waypoint is upside-down, and it’s making travelers feel creeped out already. Travelers can expect a new world quest that would give them a backstory on how the eerie place came to be.
There are six teleport waypoints and a new Statue of the Seven in The Chasm.

Leaks from reliable sources also revealed that there would be a new Statue of the Seven in The Chasm. This region is connected to the Defiled Statue we encountered in the Archon Quest: A Soul Set Apart if that’s the case.
It seems Genshin Impact’s themes are becoming more and more serious with each update. In Inazuma alone, travelers took on an emotional story and world quests from Raiden Ei to the people of Enkanomiya.
It’s not long before Update 2.6 drops, so travelers will have to wait and see what the region is about.
