Ayato is the leader of the Kamisato clan, making him one of Inazuma’s most powerful figures. He is also the head of the Yashiro Commission, the institution in charge of overseeing cultural activities in the region. He is in the voice lines of both Ayaka and Raiden Shogun but has not yet made any public appearance in Inazuma.

Kamisato Ayato is a Hydro character who dedicates his life to the preservation of the Inazuma region’s prosperity and stability. He also appears to be wielding a one-handed blade, implying that he wields a sword or a claymore.

Weapon
One of the NPCs, Nobumori (an in-game NPC leaker 🙂 ), claims that Ayato can use both a sword and a polearm, raising the possibility that he may shift forms. Following up on recent leaks, miHoYo has released Ayato’s official debut, giving fans a sneak peek at the future character.
Speculations suggest that Ayato’s primary weaponry type might be a Claymore. While he will be Hydro-aligned, the type of weapon he will use is unclear. It could be changed because he is still in the initial phases of development.
Outfit
The character’s outfit was detailed by a Genshin community member and posted on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit. They not only deconstructed Ayato’s outfit, but they also made a draft and highlighted some of the pieces shown in the leak.

Multiple thin lines are in Ayato’s garment, hinting that more of his attire is behind it. It’s likely that Ayato chooses to use a Claymore because his white coat has a straight-edge tip that may disguise the blade. Ayato appears to be wearing the very same forearm guard as his sibling.
