Yae Miko is the newest addition to Genshin Impact’s character roster. She’s the 5-star Electro character featured in the limited-time banner for version 2.5. In this guide, we will be talking about the best Yae Miko builds. If you’re still deciding whether to pull for her or not, check out our guide answering the question, is Yae Miko worth it?

Best role in a team comp
Yae Miko’s DEF stat is arguably one of the lowest among the playable characters. But her damage output makes up for it, especially when you deploy three of her Sesshou Sakura. Other guides call this skill ‘Turrets’.
It’s advisable that travelers start any battle by immediately deploying the three Turrets. If the Turrets are within range of each other, they link together and level themselves up, producing more damage and heavily aiding against mobs.

After you deploy all three Turrets, you can switch characters while her Turrets continue doing damage. This makes Yae Miko a perfect off-field sub-DPS for your team comps. Don’t forget to use her Elemental Burst that will unleash powerful lightning strikes on each Sesshou Sakura deployed on the field.

Talent Priority
As of now, Yae Miko’s best role in any team comp is a sub-DPS. Because of this, her Talents should be prioritized as follows:
- Elemental Skill – Yakan Evocation: Sesshou Sakura
- Elemental Burst – Great Secret Art: Tenko Kenshin
- Normal Attack – Spiritfox Sin-Eater
Best weapon and alternatives
Yae Miko’s signature weapon, Kagura’s Verity is obviously the best weapon for her. When using an Elemental Skill, the Elemental Skill DMG of the wielder increases depending on its refinement level. This effect lasts for 12s and can be stacked 3 times. The wielder will also gain All Elemental DMG Bonus when they possess 3 stacks.
Refinement Level | Elemental Skill DMG |
1 | 12% |
2 | 15% |
3 | 18% |
4 | 21% |
5 | 24% |

Best artifact set and alternatives
- Stats that you should look out for when choosing artifacts for Yae Miko are Elemental Mastery/ATK/CRIT DMG and Energy Recharge if you do not have an Electro battery in your team comp.
- The best artifact build you can equip with Yae Miko is 2pc Thundering Fury and 2pc Gladiator’s Finale or Noblesse Oblige. Thundering Fury will increase her Electro DMG while Gladiator’s Finale will increase her ATK stat. 2pc Noblesse Oblige will increase her Elemental Burst DMG by 20%.
- You can use a 4pc Emblem of Severed Fate if you do not have an Electro battery like Raiden Shogun or Fischl in your team comp for Yae Miko. This set will boost both her Energy Recharge stat as well as the DMG of her Elemental Burst.
