God of War: Fully Compatible with Steam Deck
The Steam Deck is Valve’s upcoming portable device, which is expected to be a hit. Another piece of good news is that God of War has been confirmed to be fully compatible!
Everything seems to be looking great for Valve and Steam Deck – a sort of PC dressed as a Nintendo Switch that lets you play the Steam collection. Pre-orders for the portable machine have erupted as it is definitely a hot item for gamers.
AAA Games
The concept is appealing because it enables you to play a wide variety of games, including some of the most popular AAA titles available on PC, wherever you go.
Previously, Valve revealed which games will be accessible: First and foremost, these must be available on Steam. Second, some titles will be “verified” officially by the company and advertised as such on the digital store. This indicates that they are fully playable on the Steam Deck by satisfying certain specific criteria.
Yoshida Plays!
The hype surrounding the Steam Deck’s arrival is increasing. Shuhei Yoshida (former SIE President), after receiving the device from Valve, also tweeted a simple message regarding God of War:
Yeeessss!!! #SteamDeck pic.twitter.com/UeObIbJ7XA

Additionally, a huge “verified” list reveals that the PC port published just a few days ago is entirely compatible with the Steam Deck by meeting all the essential specifications. It was already novel and groundbreaking for PlayStation to release the latest Kratos adventures on Windows, but doing so on a handheld device is even more groundbreaking!

Since March 2021, I've worn two hats at Spiel Times: a writer and a Managing Editor. In my writing role, I've earned recognition from Wikipedia and Nev Schulman (Catfish TV Show host) for my insightful analysis and engaging narrative style. I'm passionate about all things gaming, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for uncovering hidden secrets within games. My gaming journey began at a young age, captivated by titles like Resident Evil and Tomb Raider. Today, I enjoy exploring open-world RPGs and MMORPGs, consumed by their lore and crafting theories about their narratives. I'm also drawn to the suspenseful atmosphere of horror games and the intricate narratives of crime-themed titles, bringing a unique perspective to my writing. Beyond gaming, I have a fascination with anything unexplained and chilling, a passion that often spills over into my exploration of horror games. When I'm not engrossed in a virtual world, you can find me curled up and spending time with my adorable doggy sidekick, Teemo. As Managing Editor, I'm committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for our writing team. I communicate openly with my team members, addressing any content-related issues and providing guidance to help them excel.
