Grand Theft Auto Online is celebrating its 10th anniversary starting on September 17, 2023. To commemorate this special milestone, Rockstar Games has announced a series of free rewards and bonuses for players. These freebies will be available until September 27, so make sure to log in and claim them before they expire. Free Outfits
By simply logging in to GTA Online anytime between September 14 and September 27, players will unlock three outfits inspired by the protagonists of GTA 5 – Michael, Franklin, and Trevor. These outfits are titled The Retired Criminal, The Homie, and The Groupie respectively.

The outfits clearly represent the distinctive styles of each character. For example, The Retired Criminal outfit includes a suit jacket and pants reminiscent of Michael’s classic mobster look.
These special anniversary outfits will be automatically added to your inventory once you log in during the eligibility period. You can find them under the Outfits: GTA V Anniversary section in any wardrobe.
Exclusive Weapon Finishes
In addition to the outfits, logging in during the anniversary will also grant you access to special weapon finishes themed around the three characters. These include:
- Employee of the Month finish for the Micro SMG, representing Trevor’s energy
- Suede Bucks finish for the Carbine Rifle, inspired by Franklin’s street-style
- Uncle T finish for the RPG Launcher, channeling Michael’s excessive nature
To equip these custom finishes, visit any Ammu-Nation store and customize the designated weapons. The new skins will be visible in the upgrade options.
More Anniversary Bonuses
Aside from the free anniversary items, Rockstar is also offering GTA$ and RP bonuses on select Contact Missions from Lamar and Trevor. You can earn up to quadruple the usual rewards right now.
The Bravado Hotring Hellfire sports car is also available for purchase this week only as part of the anniversary specials.
Bonus Snacks, Armor, and Ammo
On top of everything else, the anniversary update also provides free snacks, armor, and ammo to all players just for logging in. Look out for a series of unlock notifications to pop up on your screen after signing in during the eligibility period. Stock up on these supplies before heading out for your next mission or adventure.
