GTA: The Trilogy Will Take 25.4GB on Nintendo Switch

While we wait for GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition, an interesting piece of information came to light for Nintendo Switch fans.

Rockstar Games revealed all of the specifics for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition just recently. The game will be available digitally on November 11th for all platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. The game has since been listed on the Nintendo eShop, with a download size of 25.4 GB.

The fact is that while this size isn’t very enormous on systems like PlayStation or Xbox, it’s significant on Switch.

Although we will be able to use a microSD card with the digital version of November 11 that we will receive through the eShop, there are concerns with the physical edition: The size of this cartridge is yet unclear, but as Nintendo Life points out, Rockstar has some terrible history in this area. Keep in mind that the digital edition was roughly 29 GB, and the physical version needed a 14 GB download.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy

• New lighting, environmental advancements, high-resolution textures, increased draw distance, and stylistic control will be highlighted in GTA: The Trilogy.
• The Definitive Edition of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy will be available digitally on November 11 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
• A physical version will follow on December 6 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch – with a mobile version coming in 2022.
