The highlight of Genshin Impact’s 2.6 update is the debut of five-star Hydro character, Kamisato Ayato. Aside from the fact that he is the brother of Kamisato Ayaka, travelers are eager to pull for him because of his incredible skill set. Who is Kamisato Ayato in Genshin Impact?
Kamisato Ayato is known as the Yashiro Commissioner in the region of Inazuma. But he is more known as the older brother of Kamisato Ayaka and one of Thoma’s closest friends. He is the newest Hydro five-star character in Genshin Impact. Moreover, his signature weapon is the Haran Geppaku Futsu, a five-star sword available in the weapon banner for 2.6, Phase 1.
Recommended builds for Kamisato Ayato

Damage Dealer
One of the most useful skills Ayato has is his Elemental Skill. However, his Elemental Skill disappears as soon as he is switched out for another character. We recommend using Ayato as one of the team’s DMG dealers because of this. Moreover, you can pair him up with powerful Support characters to maximize his DMG output.
Some recommended support characters are Bennett, Ganyu, and Raiden Shogun. These are the recommended characters because of the possible Elemental Reactions you can create with Ayato’s Hydro skillset.
Freeze Support
If you already have a main DPS on your team, you can maximize Ayato’s abilities by using him as Freeze Support. You can pair him with other powerful characters such as Ganyu and use his Elemental Burst for a powerful freeze comp.
However, Ayato’s Elemental Skill can generate high amounts of DMG. So keep that in mind if ever you plan on putting him on your team.

Best Weapons for Kamisato Ayato
Aside from his signature weapon, the Haran Geppaku Futsu, you can opt for other weapons. Look for weapons that boost the CRIT RATE, CRIT DMG, and ATK of a character to see if it’s suitable for Ayato. If you don’t have enough Primogems to pull for his weapon, check out the other weapons which Ayato can use.
