Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon: Mole Knight, How To Beat
In Pocket Dungeon, Shovel Knight will accompany a number of his pals and foes. This means you’ll have to face off against rival fighters like King Knight once more. Once you’ve conquered the Chromatic Caverns, the tunneling Mole Knight may arrive, and if you don’t plan beforehand, he can be rather difficult.
As boulders and Molers begin to come in, Mole Knight will begin bouncing about the grid almost instantly. Concentrate on clearing those rapidly and just attacking Mole Knight when it’s convenient. You’ll need a lot of room to move in this fight. Potions will trickle down as the fight progresses, so stay healthy.

- Globbers join the Molers. When one of these appears and begins spreading lava around the grid, you must make a beeline for it and eliminate it.
- That lava is extremely deadly, and the Globber will continue to spit it all over the place until it is defeated.
- When Mole Knight erupts out of the ground, he will also briefly generate a pool of lava – seek for the 3×3 area and avoid it.
- If Mole Knight appears while you’re standing there, you’ll incur damage and be tossed to another grid location.
Combat
- In this combat, there’s a lot to handle, but keeping the Molers and Globbers at bay while seeking ways to hurt Mole Knight is the way to go. Continue to fight until you win the battle and unlock him as a playable character.
- Mole Knight’s particular ability is to dig, which allows him to switch places with a neighboring object or enemy. If you find yourself trapped, it’s an excellent way to get away.
