Recent leaks pertaining to the Nvidia GeForce Now had contained information about yet to be announced titles such as God of War and Halo 5: Guardians. This reference to Halo 5 gave fans the hope that it may finally be arriving on PC.
There have been numerous instances previously where leaks have said that Halo 5 was coming to PC. However, it was disproved. Now that more Halo games have been releasing on Steam, and the Master Chief Collection having a strong run, it was expected that Halo 5 might just be coming to PC finally.

Nvidia put the hopes down; stating that the leaks were related to “speculative” titles and that they were just for “testing”. However, it is not uncommon for real titles to be used as placeholders for testing UI and functionality features. Alas, for fans of Halo 5, sad news once again.
Brian Jarrard Responds
343 Industries have made the announcement that, unfortunately, Halo 5 will indeed not be coming to PC, and that there is no chance of it at this time.
Maybe this was for "H5:Forge" but I can confirm there are no plans to bring H5 to PC. We know there's some demand for it, but as we've stated before, not in the cards as the studio is fully focused on Infinite and MCC. Will never say never, but nothing underway currently

While this is not as we expected, we can just hold on to the hope that PC owners will be able to experience the Halo 5 title on their systems. Meanwhile, we have Halo: Infinite to look out for, and hopefully, we can see a few titles on the PC platform.
