Halo Infinite: Smoother Gameplay Settings Guide

Players might face some issues in gameplay such as low FPS or stuttering of new games, especially if they are in the beta stage. Most of these issues can be fixed by tweaking a few settings, allowing for a better gaming experience.

Similarly, Halo Infinite has been showing some pretty good gameplay since its surprise release, but there might be some stuttering issues that players would come across, impacting their gaming experience. They can be fixed easily, read on to find out how.

PC Issues

  • The first thing to do if you face a drop in FPS on PC is to exit the game and reopen it. It might seem like a common and repeated solution, but it might actually solve the issue. If the game is not closing, shut it down from the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
  • I this does not resolve FPS issues, go to Settings-> Visual Options. It just might be that your PC is unable to handle the game at the specified settings. The first step is to lower the Resolution Scale to 90 and turn Vsync on. This might cause your game to restart
  • If this still does not help, check your Graphics Driver to ensure it is up to date.
  • Beyond this, there might be an issue with the internet connection. You can check your connection’s speed online and then restart the router. Check your connection in another way, such as playing another game that requires internet
  • If this still does not help, check the Halo Support pages on social media platforms such as Twitter to see if the issue has been flagged already.

Xbox Issues

  • On an Xbox One or Series S, the first step is to open Settings->Video->Graphics Quality and select Performance. This will result in the console focusing on a smooth framerate than trying to give you the best resolution.
  • On a Series X, there is no option to change the Quality option since the device has a 4K output at 60 FPS.
  • Apart from Settings, if you still face issues, check the internet connection, or reset your console by holding down the Xbox button on the controller and then selecting Restart.
  • If this still does not solve your issues, reinstall the game.
