Hogwarts Legacy: Will Multiplayer, Co-Op Be Available?

Potterheads, brace yourselves for the newest Harry Potter franchise game – Hogwarts Legacy!

Enter the Wizarding World of Hogwarts, a fantastic and magical scenery featuring some of the famous details from the beloved Harry Potter franchise. Become a witch or a wizard and study in the world’s most prestigious school of wizardry and witchcraft – Hogwarts!

Hogwarts Legacy gameplay trailer had just been released, and there are already speculations that the game might be a multiplayer co-op game. Though it has shown the path of more than one wizard/witch, the game will focus more on the single-player RPG scheme.

However, developers answered the rumors and questions surrounding the game promptly, stating that they will be giving Hogwarts Legacy a traditional single-player, open-world action-RPG style of play.

This just means that you will NOT be able to team up with other wizards or witches in the game. 

Unfortunately, you probably will not enjoy the experience of having the terrific trio of Harry, Hermione, and Ron. As sad as it sounds, it will also allow you to enjoy the depths of the game more as a solo player.

Although you are going solo, Hogwarts’ NPCs can still lend a hand if you need assistance. After all, “Help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who deserve it.” – Dumbledore

Hogwarts Legacy will be available on various platforms like the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
