Although, the combat in this game is turn-based unlike in Genshin Impact. This game is unique in its way and has a different yet sophisticated manner of classifying the characters. The game currently has 4 fire characters and each of them has its pros and cons. S-tier
Himeko
- Path: The Erudition
- Element: Fire
- Star: 5*
- Tier: S
Reason: Himeko is undoubtedly one of the strongest DPS characters in Honkai Star Rail. She is a 5* character and hence it might be hard to get her, but if you can she is worth it. Himeko is one of the characters that can exploit enemies’ elemental weakness to its maximum potential. She has high AoE damage which makes her preferable in most of the combat situations.
Himeko follows up an attack every time enemies’ elemental weakness is triggered. At last, her ultimate ability deals massive damage while recharging her energy. Doesn’t this sound broken? Well, she is and hence she is ranked 1 on our tier list of Fire characters in Honkai Star Rail.
A-tier
Trailblazer (Fire)
- Path: The Preservation
- Element: Fire
- Star: 5*
- Tier: A
Reason: Yes, you read that right! I do believe Trailblazer is one of the strongest Fire characters in Honkai Star Rail. Trailblazer is a utility-based tank in Honkai, that can shield your main source of damage while also reciprocating to enemies’ attack. He can be used to bait out heavy-hitting attacks of the enemy and holds strong against the enemies that are weak to fire elements.
Asta
- Path: Harmony
- Element: Fire
- Star: 4*
- Tier: A
Reason: Asta can be considered a support as her abilities include buffs and utilities. Asta’s ultimate ability buffs the attack speed of her allies, and this can help you secure another turn. We do know the value of an extra turn in Honkai, right? She pairs well with other characters that have high attack speed or can benefit from it.
B-tier
Hook
- Path: The Destruction
- Element: Fire
- Star: 4*
- Tier: B
Reason: Hook is another DPS character that belongs to the Fire element. Hook excels in single-target damage, especially when she applies burn debuffs to enemies. The only downside of Hook is that she requires specific Relics and Light cones to do massive damage as her base damage is not as high as other DPS characters (as of now).
