How to join Exoprimal Open Beta Weekend
The Open Beta Weekend will be available to play on Friday, June 16th, as the second open beta of the game. The first open beta was held in March 2023, focusing on cross-platform matchmaking. Capcom added story opening, story-related missions, and 10-player co-op missions in the upcoming open beta, along with adjustments to the game experience.
All players can jump in and try out the open beta weekend. However, to access the demo, there are several extra steps to take. Firstly, you need to have a Capcom account, and it needs to be linked to the platform where you will play the demo on:
- Go to the Exoprimal site and click the link for the Capcom ID website.
- Log in or create a new account on Capcom ID.
- On the account page, scroll to the bottom and choose which platform to link.
- Link any platforms that you want the beta to be available on since this is the platform on which you can play the game.
- Link those accounts by clicking the linking button.
- Log into the PlayStation Store, Steam, or Xbox Store and grant permissions.
The next step is to download the Exoprimal Open Beta client. To do that, it’s quite different with each platform:
- Steam: Search for Exoprimal in the search bar, then select the demo.
- PlayStation 5: Search for Exoprimal in the store and enter. Next, press the “…” button. Select the Open Beta option from the drop-down.

- Be within your region’s age ratings classification for the game’s target age group.
- Actively participate in the OBT2 and provide feedback via the survey.
