Kingdom Hearts 4 Trailer Showcases Sora’s New Look

Square Enix has recently announced the development of the new Kingdom Hearts 4. The announcement was revealed during a live stream celebrating Kingdom Hearts’ 20th Anniversary. A new and updated look for Sora was showcased in the new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4!

Sora is the main playable character in the game. He is from Destiny Islands and wields a Keyblade. In the trailer, the character is looking sharper with additional details and better dimensions.

Another character in the game, Strelitzia, also got an updated look.

She first appeared in Kingdom Hearts Union χ as a member of the Dandelions and is also a Keyblade wielder. Strelitzia’s features were enhanced in the trailer just like Sora’s character. Both of the characters’ features appear to be more realistic and 3D-like compared to previous games.

Additionally, the trailer featured Sora’s primary partners Goofy and Donald Duck who will be coming back to Kingdom Hearts 4.

Quadratum

A sneak peek of the Quadratum, which seems to be the main setting of the storyline of the game will take place, was also showcased. This world was first introduced in Kingdom Hearts 3 and was modeled after Shibuya in Japan.

Gameplay Teaser!

Aside from the new and updated looks of the characters and improvements in some elements, the new trailer also showed some minor actions that players will get to enjoy once the game comes out.

We can see a huge form of a Heartless appear in Quadratum and Sora charging straight to it with his Keyblade. The entirety of the combat scene with the game’s sound effects and music will surely make the whole game a thrilling experience for the players!

With all of the improvements in the game elements, Kingdom Heart fans will surely have fun exploring Quadratum in the 4th installment. Unfortunately, the release date for the game is still unknown. In the meantime, check out the full trailer of Kingdom Hearts 4 below!
