The year 2023 is lined with the marriages of Korean celebrity couples. In the first quarter of the year, four leading man from K-drama and K-pop, Lee Seung-gi, Se7en, Song Joong-ki, and Yoon Bak announced their wedding plans and walked down the aisle.
This seems to be continuing the spirit of 2022, which was unofficially the year of marriage in the Korean entertainment industry. Many well-known Korean celebrity couples took their first step in matrimony last year including Hyun Bin-Son Ye-jin, Nam Goong-min – Jin Areum, Park Shin-Hye – Choi Tae-Joon, Gang Hyo-jin – Kevin Oh, and Jang Na-ra.
All Korean celebrity couples’ marriages in 2023
Fans are hearing the wedding bells within the first few months of 2023. The (Drama actor) Yoon Bak recently announced his wedding to his girlfriend, and K-pop singer Se7en also has announced his wedding. Meanwhile, Korean celebrity couples such as Lee Seung-gi and his girlfriend, actress Lee Da-in tied the knot on April 7.
1) Se7en and Lee Da-Hae
The K-pop singer and his actress fiancée shared the news of their upcoming marriage in separate Instagram posts. “I have vowed to marry my girlfriend, Lee Da-Hae, who always hugged me with love. [Moreover] shared joy and sorrow with me for the past eight years,” Se7en said, further revealing that the wedding would take place on May 6.
The Good Witch actress Lee Da-Hae also shared the news on her Instagram. “The announcement might not come as a surprise as we’ve been dating for eight years, but I am still shy.” She further confessed to wondering how to share the news. “We have vowed to become life partners after being a long-term couple in May 2023. Although I’m still used to calling him [my] boyfriend.”

2) Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in
The Law Cafe actor Lee Seung-gi married his girlfriend on April 7, 2023. He announced his wedding in a heartfelt letter on Instagram and revealed that he proposed to Lee Da-in and she accepted. The couple confirmed their relationship in 2021 following reports suggesting that they started seeing each other in 2020.
“[Lee Da-in] is someone with a lot of warmth and love. She is also someone I wish to keep by my side forever.” Lee Seung-gi wrote in the official announcement about the Alice actress. “I want to share our happiness and overcome difficulties together without letting go of each other’s hands.”
3) Yoon Bak and Kim Su-bin
K-drama actor Yoon Bak shared a handwritten letter announcing a fall wedding. According to Soompi his agency H& Entertainment also confirmed the news stating the Itaewon Class actor will marry his beloved on September 2. “The reason why I am writing this letter is that I promised to spend the rest of my life with my beloved. [Hence, I wanted] to convey this news to everyone.” Yoon Bak wrote to his fans.
“While we were dating, [Kim Su-bin] gave me lots of love and trust. The happiness and stability we felt for each other determined this moment,” He further shared while announcing his nuptials with the YG KPlus model Kim Su-bin.
4) Song Joong-Ki and Katy Louise Saunders
Descendants of the Sun star, Song Joong-Ki shared his marriage update through fan-cafe in January 2023. He stated that he had just returned after registering his marriage and the couple are expecting a child. “We dreamt of making a happy family and thankfully a precious life came to us,” he wrote to his fans.
On June 14, 2023, the couple welcomed their son. Song Joong-Ki shared the happy news stating he is in his wife’s hometown Rome and they have welcomed a healthy son. The Reborn Rich star also shared a sweet image of his son holding his finger and thanked his fans who have supported him and his family.
5) Uhm Hyun Kyung and Cha Seo Won
The Second Husband stars Uhm Hyun Kyung and Cha Seo Won are also one of the Korean celebrity couples that confirmed their marriage rumors and shared that they are expecting their first child. As per the reports of the Korean news agency Hankook Ilbo, the couple began dating after completing their drama.
The agencies of both actors also confirmed their marriage plans after Cha Seo-won was discharged from mandatory military service.

6) Son Dong Woon and non-celeb girlfriend
HIGHLIGHT’s youngest member Son Dong Woon announces his wedding plans with his non-celebrity girlfriend through a heartfelt letter. He shared the handwritten announcement on his Instagram stating that he wanted to share his happiness with fans before anyone else.
Furthermore sharing that he has thankfully met someone who cares and understands him very well. At some point, he decided that he wished to be with his lover in the future as well hence he is planning a September wedding. He also further shared his gratitude for his fans and his hyungs for caring about him and supporting him.
7) Kim Dong Wook and Non- Celebrity Girlfriend
The Coffee Prince actor Kim Dong Wook is all set to marry his non-celeb girlfriend in the winter of 2023. The actor’s managing label KEYEAST confirmed the news to Korean News outlets stating that the couple’s relationship is based on trust and faith and they can’t wait to embark on this new journey together.
The actor also thanked his fans through his company’s Instagram for always supporting him. Further shared that he will continue to work hard to give a good performance on screen.

7) Go Kyu Pil and Amin
BIG BOSS Entertainment confirms that the actor Go Kyu Pil is going to tie the knot with the popular singer and his long time girlfriend Amin adding them to the list of Korean celebrity couples getting married in 2023. Agency further shares that the couple shares a bond of friendship that will blossom into a partnership for life on November 12.
They also announced that Through The Darkness actor Kim Nam Gil will officiate the marriage as a close friend of Go Kyu Pil; which was later confirmed by Nam Gil’s agency GILSTORY Entertainment.

8) Sojin and Lee Dong Ha
Girl’s Day member Sojin is all set to tie the knot with long time boyfrind and actor Lee Dong Ha. As per the reports the couple has started to distribute the invitations for their Fall wedding.
Sojin’s managing agency also confirmed that the singer will get married in November in Seoul. The ceremony will be small with their closest family and friends.

9) Haein and non celebrity boyfriend
The singer from popular group LABOUM has written a heartfelt letter to her fans announcing her marriage with her teenage sweetheart. The couple met when her non-celeb boyfriend was 19 and after growing up together they are finally going to tie the knot in November.
Additionally, the Haein shared the good news that she is expecting a child. Fans are excited for her sweet love story to progress into a joyous life.
