After putting on a show for his much-awaited concert in the Philippines, American singer and songwriter Lauv graced his fans by performing in the country’s most popular fast-food restaurant, Jollibee.

The popular pop icon went and tried out the Philippines‘ biggest fast-food chain during the weekend. After wrapping up his concert in Cebu and Manila, Lauv decided to take a quick tour inside Jollibee and take a bite of the crispylicious, juicylicious, Jollibee chickenjoy. But, before even eating his food, the crew of the Jollibee store recognized the artist and introduced him to the crowd.
“It was a Monday in Manila. I finished a photoshoot and got hungry so we went to @jollibee to catch some grub and then THIS happened,” Lauv shared in the caption of the video.

The manager of the store asked Lauv if he could serenade the Filipinos, to which the famous singer obliged. Lauv held on to the microphone and started singing an acapella version of one of his biggest hits, “I Like Me Better”.
“I can’t believe they let me do this, (not gonna lie) I’m kinda nervous,” he said in the video.
According to netizens, Lauv gave his surprise performance in a Jollibee branch in Edsa Ayala
Although Lauv’s initial plan was to just take a picture of the jolly Jollibee mascot, the fragrant smell of the Jollibee fried chicken and Filipino spaghetti enticed him and his company to eat in the resto. Moreover, he was amazed by the ambiance of the place, pushing him to enter the building. In one comment of the TikTok video he shared, the Jollibee branch was discovered to be the one in Edsa Ayala in Makati, Metro Manila. His performance not only gave the customers and crew a treat but also an experience they sure will never forget.
Lauv was in the Philippines for his The Between Album concert tour in Cebu and Manila
After four years, Lauv returns to the Philippines for a two-day concert tour. The sensational singer is traveling across the globe to perform live for his fans. As part of his tour, Lauv went to two of the largest cities in the country during the weekend. He performed inside the Water Front Hotel in Cebu on September 9. A couple of days later, he graced his fans at the Mall of Asia Arena (September 11).
Some of Lauv’s biggest hits are “I Like Me Better”, “Love You Like That”, “The Other”, “Paris in the Rain”, “Who”, “Comfortable”, and “Getting Over You”. Just last year, the 29-year-old icon just released his latest album called “All 4 Nothing”. After the Philippines, his next stop will be in three cities in China (Chengdu, Foshan, and Shanghai) from September 14 to 20.
