Little Nightmares just got another DLC addition to its three-part DLC series ‘Secrets of the Maw’ – The Hideaway. The Runaway Kid from the previous DLC ‘The Depths’ is the protagonist of the new DLC as well. This time around, we will be dealing with the infamous ‘nomes’, the weird creatures with triangular body shapes, to find a way out of the gloomy place. As the Steam description says –
The Runaway Kid wakes up in the engine area of The Maw, a dark and grimy place populated by Nomes. Only by finding and rescuing these curious creatures can The Kid make his way out of The Maw; but where are all these Nomes coming from? What secrets are buried in their nest?
As the trailer says, players will have to coop with the nomes and work as a team to unveil the secrets, the nomes are keeping. “The nomes have a secret down by the fire and steam. They’ll help you to find it, but you must work as a team.”

Predictivewise, we’ll see the nomes play a greater role in this expansion. In the base game and the last DLC, nomes, were nothing but decorative units, except for once when one of the nomes became Six’s nosh. Six is the main protagonist of the game by the way.
