In an interview with VG247, Amazon Games’ franchise lead Soomin Park shared a few possibilities in the future of Lost Ark. Park shared that both Amazon and Smilegate RPG would consider a console port of Lost Ark if it was “something fans really want”.
If fan demand was high enough, Lost Ark may get a console port
Lost Ark is only available on PC as of now. But it’s gained a massive following since it first came out in 2019. However, Park shared that he was open to porting the game to consoles. It wouldn’t be an impossible feat to pull off. Plus, it would only give Lost Ark more traction and a wider reach to gamers on consoles.
Diablo 3 and Lost Ark have been compared to each other over the past years because of their similar playstyles. Diablo 3 found a huge amount of success once it got ported to the Xbox and PlayStation systems. In relation to that, Park added that Amazon and Smilegate RPG would consider a console port. But only if fans really wanted that to happen.
Further into the interview, VG27 asked Park about the rivalry between Lost Ark and Diablo 3. Park acknowledged the rivalry between the two games. “We definitely feel like there’s an opportunity for Lost Ark to establish itself as a major player, as proven by the amount of success the game has seen so far,” he shared.
If a console port does happen, it won’t be until a few years later before the game is ready
From the interview alone, we can deduce that Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG don’t have the console port in their plans. Like Park said, it all depends on the demand from fans, and right now, it doesn’t look like fans are getting tired of playing the game on PC.
As of writing, Lost Ark is the second most played game of all time on Steam. Moreover, the game has over 20 million active players. If the demand for a console port does become high, let’s hope it won’t have any major issues like before.

This is really happy news. As a Lost Ark fan, I wish the game would get a console port. This way I can play games more easily.
