Lost Ark: Paladin, How to Level Up Fast

Due to his remarkable ability to deal damage and assist, the Paladin is one of the most desirable classes in Lost Ark. Most of his holy powers can be enhanced by support abilities that activate when foes are hit or have such a large AOE that the boost is almost sure to be received by the entire party.

Paladin

Support is almost demanded of Paladins in late-game raids and dungeons, yet it is almost useless while leveling. The Paladin’s support skills aren’t very good until he receives more skill points, which won’t happen until he’s well past fifty.

Instead of a 10% shield or benefit to other players, you’ll take an extra 30% damage. These items will ultimately have their place, but for now, Paladins require the extra damage.

Use Distance

Be careful in dungeons where opponents have too much health to be killed outright. Let the melee classes handle it. While the Paladin is exposed to these situations, they have a way of dodging vicious blows and avoiding damage.

Players have a habit of trying to switch up their ranged talents with a few melee skills. At this point in the game, it’s best to put all of your money in four or five holy talents and skip melee combat entirely.

Holy Skills

Dealing a large burst of damage at once is a must to bring battles to an end quick. Any regular foe hit by Sword of Justice or Godsent Law will be killed instantly.

Close combat skills are great for some classes, but not for the Paladin. They’re sluggish, and they frequently place the protagonist in risky situations. Lastly, the Paladin has no easy way to heal himself or anyone else in the party. One of the few downsides of being an early support build (if you happen to choose support from the start).
