Luka Doncic Puts Dwight Howard on a Highlight Reel with a Monster Dunk

March 1st, 2022 – One of the best young players today square off with one of the greatest in NBA history – Luka Doncic and the Mavericks against LeBron James and the Lakers.

A night of back and forth battle between the two greats resulted in a nail-biter. In this game, the Slovenian superstar led the Mavs past the Lakers in a close game, 109-104. Luka put up 25 points, 5 assists, and 8 rebounds.

Although LeBron and the Lakers tried to come back from a 21-point deficit, Luka Doncic took over the fourth quarter and secured the W.

LBJ played another great game, putting up 26 points, 5 assists, and 12 rebounds. Carmelo Anthony also had his fair share of the ball contributing 20 points while shooting 6 for 11.

With just 3 minutes and 18 seconds left in the first quarter, Doncic put on a show and went absolutely insane.

He had just put Dwight Howard in the highlight tape, posterizing him in a putback dunk from a missed corner three from Dinwiddie.

Super athleticism and quickness is not Luka’s best asset. In this game, not only did he show he’s got some hops, he’s got the strength too.

Usually, he’s that kind of player you think of when the phrase “White Men Can’t Jump” comes into your mind.

Luka has been turning heads since he entered the league. Even as a rookie, he has already broken a lot of records. He has even got the attention of some of the greats. The golden boy of Dallas also gets high praises and gets compared to guys like Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James.

Mavs are currently the 5th seed in the West(37-25) and have won 8 games in their last 10. Lakers, on the other hand, are in the ninth seed (27-34).
