After a week of breakup rumors, Bryan Tanaka finally confirmed his split from Mariah Carey. The 40-year-old revealed their decision to part ways was amicable, calling their seven years together “extraordinary.”
“Our decision to embark on different paths is mutual, and as we navigate these separate journeys, we do so with profound respect and an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the invaluable time we’ve shared,” he wrote.
He then revealed that the memories they had created together and their artistic collaborations would forever be etched in his heart. He also praised Mariah for her dedication to her family and commitment to her craft, which had both inspired them during their shared journey.
Bryan then expressed his love and appreciation for the Songbird Supreme and her twins, Monroe and Moroccan, 12, claiming their warmth and kindness had enriched his life in ways he couldn’t explain.

A source then told People that Mariah would celebrate the holidays in Aspen without her longtime boyfriend, who had been accompanying her to her getaway. It was the first time they hadn’t been together for years after starting a professional relationship in 2006.
