Marvel Wolverine Announced for PS5

During today’s PlayStation Showcase, we got the first glimpse at Marvel’s Wolverine, developed by Insomniac Games. They’re the developers behind Marvel’s Spider-Man for the PS4 and Miles Morales.

Fast-forward a couple years and we’re suddenly standing in front of Sony Interactive Entertainment and Marvel formally pitching a PlayStation 5 game starring the adamantium-clawed Mutant!”, said Ryan Schneider, the Head of Franchise Strategy & Studio Relations at Insomniac Games

Sony had a little surprise planned for Marvel fanatics as Marvel’s Wolverine video game popped out of nowhere. Everyone expected some updates about Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and Marvel’s Spiderman 2, but this was a surprise! It was a short teaser which was basically Wolverine walks into a bar and…

It seems to have the old man Logan vibes as Logan is seen sitting in a cowboy outfit with marks and blood all over his fist and knuckles. His face isn’t revealed throughout the teaser. His claws pop out as we see someone walk inside the bar with a knife, probably agitating the old man.

Till now, we didn’t have many games or a solid reason to purchase the PS5, but with such reveals back-to-back, PS5 seems like a necessity for gamers. This also means getting a PS5 is going to get only harder.
