A new report from Deadline reveals that Matthew Macfadyen is ready to make his way into the Marvel Universe with Deadpool 3. He was recently applauded for his performance in HBO Max’s Succession.
Fans of the Emmy-winning star were curious about his next project as Succession progressed toward its final season and now they are excited to see him join the Marvel Universe.
The third installment of Deadpool was announced last year with a tentative 2024 release. It was also revealed that the makers will start shooting the film in the spring of 2023 in London.
Due to this fans were expecting to receive more updates about the project in 2023. However, none could’ve expected to see Matthew Macfadyen join the Marvel Universe.

According to Deadline, Matthew Macfadyen will be joining the previously announced cast including Ryan Reynolds, Huge Jackman, Owen Wilson, and Tara Strong. The lead of Netflix’s well-acclaimed drama series The Crown, Emma Corrin also announced to be in the film in February 2023.
While Macfadyen is confirmed to join the blockbuster project, not much is unveiled about his character. However, as per recent reports, he may play the third wheel with Deadpool and Wolverine.
Macfadyen recently received praise for his character as Tom Wambsgans in Succession. He also won the Emmy Award and BAFTA for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his work in the series’ third season.
The show’s fourth and final season premiered on March 26 and broke many records for the series. Its first episode drew in the highest viewership for the series and the show will end on May 28.
Following this fans can expect to see the Pride And Prejudice star on big screens as he joins the Marvel Universe. Deadpool 3 is one of the much-awaited releases on November 8, 2024.
It will continue the raunchy Deadpool series while also joining the MCU. It will be a notable release due to 20th Century Studios having been bought by Disney back in 2019.

Fans can expect to see Ryan Reynolds once again play the pivotal role of Wade Wilson, also known as, Deadpool. Joining him as the antagonist is Huge Jackman, who will be returning as Wolverine. They previously announced the project in a YouTube video.
People witnessed Reynolds in his X-force suit announce that he might not have any ideas about the upcoming movie. However, he is sure about one thing. On cue, Huge Jackman joined the actor and confirmed he would love to play Wolverine again.
Jackman hasn’t portrayed the beloved evil character since 2017’s Logan, directed by James Mangold. According to the previous updates shared by Huge Jackman during his visit to the Empire Film Podcast, he is diligently preparing for the role.
He also revealed that he will be rebuilding his physic for the role in six months which must be underway by now. Hence, fans may expect Wolverine to return with his chiseled body in Deadpool 3.

Additionally, fans can expect to see The Crown star Emma Corrin in a negative character. Further details about her role are still kept under wraps but she will definitely make ripples in peace of Wade Wilson in Deadpool 3.
Meanwhile, there are rumors of Owen Wilson and Tara Strong returning as Agent Mobius and Miss Minutes is also marking rounds over the internet. However, Tara Strong has said that she hasn’t heard anything regarding it yet.
“Honestly I wouldn’t tell you even if I knew. But from what I know, I don’t know anything yet.”

The upcoming film Deadpool 3 is being directed by Shawn Levy, who has previously worked with Ryan Reynolds and Huge Jackman. Recently, the director Levy worked with Reynolds on both Free Guy and The Adam Project.
He also previously worked with Jackman in the 2011’s robot boxing movie Real Steel, which currently has a series based on the film in development at Disney+.
The much-awaited film, Deadpool 3 will begin filming this spring in London and premiere in theaters on November 8, 2023.
