“Microsoft Wants To Surprise Sony This Time”, Says Tom Warren, Confirms PS5 Dev Kits Images
With just a month away from 2020, the hype around the next generation consoles seems to increase with every passing day. Amidst that, a lot of fake rumors have been surfacing about the two consoles. While PS5 devkits have been out already with some devs, there is a lot of ambiguity around Xbox Scarlett devkits. However we got some clarifications about the Xbox Scarlett devkit.
Tom Warren, senior editor at the Verge, today revealed some information about the devkits of Xbox Scarlett. He says, “hardly anyone has them, and they’re nowhere near final. That’s why you’re hearing a lot of nonsense about them not being powerful etc. Microsoft wants to surprise Sony this time”. That pretty much settles down the rumors regarding Xbox Scarlett’s performance which has been making rounds on social media recently. Although this is not an official source, this is reliable enough to contradict the ongoing rumors.
What’s doubtful is the claim that they are nowhere near final. Considering we are just a year to launch, roughly, this might not be true. That being said, Microsoft might still be fine-tuning the specifics to make sure they pose some decent challenge to Sony this time around.
