More Details About Shane Warne’s Death Revealed By His Doctor

Everyone was shocked after hearing the news of legend Shane Warne’s unexpected death. He passed away on Friday (March 4) in Thailand. The earlier reports suggested that he passed away due to a suspected heart attack.

His family reported he had been having heart troubles in the weeks leading up to his death, while it has also been noted he suffered asthma, which had been giving him grief.

However, everyone is eager to know the exact reason for the sudden demise, so an autopsy was conducted on Sunday. According to Thailand’s deputy national police spokesman, Krissana Pattanacharoen, investigators received a report in which a forensic doctor concludes that Warne’s death was the result of natural causes.

Cricket Australia Doctor Reveals The Main Reason

Dr. Peter Brukner was Warne’s long-time physician during his role as team doctor for the Australian Test side. He said that Shane Warne’s death was a long time coming due to his lifestyle. Dr. Peter Brukner told the Perth hosts, Basil Zempilas and Xavier Ellis, that Warne’s death at 52 was hastened by a combination of a longstanding smoking habit, poor diet, and other factors.

‘Warney, if he had heart disease, which sounds like he did, you know, that didn’t happen overnight in Thailand. It’s been happening for 20, 30 years from smoking, poor diet, etc.’ Dr. Brunker said.

Moreover, his manager James Erskine revealed that Warne had also completed a 14-day liquid-only diet. He added that he doesn’t or occasionally eat white buns with butter and lasagne stuffed in the middle or he would be having just black and green juices.
