A former Fox News employee Abby Grossberg filed a discrimination lawsuit against Tucker Carlson. In the lawsuit claims of finding pictures of Nancy Pelosi “in a plunging swimsuit” posted in Carlson’s Fox News office were made. According to ABC News, recent reports state that the lawsuit may have contributed to Carlson’s split with Fox News.
Tucker Carlson left his position on the channel on Monday. The move shocked many, including Carlson, as per The Wall Street Journal. He only found out about his termination approximately 10 minutes before the general public. His termination is claimed to be related to the misleading testimonies during the Dominion defamation lawsuit.
Abby Grossberg claimed of being pressured to give false testimonies in the Dominion defamation case
The news of Carlson’s termination came just days after Fox News settled a defamation lawsuit with Dominion. The voting machine manufacturer settled the case for $787 million over claims of Fox News’s possible defamation following the 2020 election.
BREAKING: According to the New York Times, it appears that the Fox News settlement with Dominion, as well as the firing of Tucker Carlson, came about due to Tucker’s private messages discovered at the last minute including “highly offensive and crude remarks that went beyond the… pic.twitter.com/ABfaR02tTe

A producer who worked with Tucker Carlson, Abby Grossberg, filed a separate lawsuit against Fox News in March. She claimed being pressured by the network for giving misleading testimony during the Dominion case.
Grossberg’s lawsuit, also claims that Tucker Carlson promoted a hostile work environment. She confessed to experiencing and witnessing sexism, bullying, anti-Semitism, and misogyny. This also led to the discovery of belittling remarks Carlson made about senior News Corporation executives.
Update: I have spoken with three people with knowledge of Fox's ouster of Tucker Carlson
They say Carlson's digital exchanges captured by the Dominion legal team echo the suite of concerns alleged by his ex producer – that his show's workplace was defined by sexism and bigotry.

Those remarks, along with Grossberg’s discrimination lawsuit, are allegedly the reason behind Carlson’s termination, according to Daily Mail.
Grossberg’s lawsuit also mentioned finding Nancy Pelosi’s swimsuit pictures in Tucker Carlson’s office
Among Abby Grossberg’s various claims of the hostile environment, she also mentioned visiting Tucker Carlson’s Manhattan office on her first day. She relented seeing swimsuit pictures of former House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi, to The New York Times.

The mentioned pictures of Pelosi went viral in July 2022. Many netizens and publications discussed them for the ridicule they received. Carlson’s previous on-air mocking of Pelosi also resurfaced online. He once referred to her as the late pop icon Michael Jackson.
Grossberg’s lawsuit further alleged experiencing sexism along with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo. According to the lawsuit Grossberg and Bartiromo consistently overworked while facing sexism at the news organization.
This story is *a lot*

Fox News superiors allegedly called Bartiromo “menopausal” and a ‘b****’, as per Grossberg’s lawsuit. Furthermore, the lawsuit alleges that Tucker Carlson’s staff also made racist jokes about Jewish people and sexualized women running for political offices.
Fox News has filed a counter-lawsuit against Abby Grossberg
Following Abby Grossberg’s lawsuit she is reportedly placed on forced administrative leave, according to her attorney. Fox News has also filed a counter lawsuit against Grossberg, along with an emergency restraining order, and an injunction to prevent Grossberg ‘from disclosing Fox News’ private information’ as per reports of Newsweek.
A Fox News spokesperson reportedly said that Grossberg’s allegations “in connection with the Dominion case are baseless’ and the news agency plans to defend Fox against all the claims.
The Fox News spokesperson further reportedly stated that the company has “engaged an independent counsel to investigate the concerns raised by Ms. Grossberg.” They also shared that the claims were filed following a ‘critical performance review.’
