Need for Speed is Getting An ‘Online Free Roam’ Mode
Need for Speed Payback is getting a free roam mode very soon. Initially, the game didn’t have such a mode and players were able to free roam only while waiting for a lobby to fill up. However, with the new implementation, you’ll be allowed to roam the streets of Fortune Valley, destroy lots and lots of light-poles, deal great damage to your virtual cars and team up with your friends, or strangers, for epic driving fun.
The news comes from Need for Speed’s official Twitter account. The mode will be free for all players, which is a really good thing. It seems like EA has really learned a thing or two (what was that? Click here to know more) There are no dates of when the mode’s coming out, as it’s still under development.
