The iconic ’90s children’s television series is coming back for another adventure with the new generation. Teletubbies is going to have a reboot and is set to premiere on Netflix this year. After its recent official announcement, there were mixed reactions from the netizens.

The Teletubbies characters Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, and Po are coming back with a new cast portraying them. They are portrayed by Rachelle Beinart, Rebecca Hyland, Nick Chee Ping Kellington, and Jeremiah Krage. Even the beloved Sun Baby role is portrayed by a new baby whose name hasn’t been revealed.
Moreover, the narrator of the show is led by Tituss Burgess who is from the “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”. While Julia Pulo is going to host the “Tummy Tales” theme song. Almost everything about this reboot is new aside from the original theme song and the original creator of the show.
The original creator of the show Andrew Davenport is coming back in writing the reboot. In addition, there is going to be a total of 12 episodes for the first season of this reboot. Then each of the episodes is about 26 minutes long.

This Teletubbies reboot could be safe
- It is honestly hard to say if this reboot is not safe for kids to watch. Especially when it hasn’t come out yet on the streaming platform. As there is also no trailer about it so we can’t see what is going to happen in the show.
- With its almost new cast and all including its fun poster, this show could be fine to watch. The only way to know the answer and keep the worries away is to give it a try by watching it. As it somehow looks promising for the new generation.
- However, if you do not want to watch it. You can always just wait for the reviews and receptions of the people who have already watched it.
