Just four months after its theatre release, Uncharted is coming on Netflix, and here we have all details for you!
Uncharted Netflix’s Release
It is confirmed! Uncharted’s release on Netflix is on July 15. However, regions outside the U.S. is yet to be announced if it is to be released too.
It is a no-shocker for Uncharted to debut on Netflix due to an exclusive agreement with Sony to stream its newest releases on the popular streaming platform. There are a few more Sony releases that may be viewed on Netflix soon, so stick around!
Uncharted Story and Casting
It took over years of filming to finally finish Uncharted. From Mike Wahlberg (supposed to be!) as the main lead role, then having Tom Holland play Nathan Drake. Nonetheless, Wahlberg plays Sully, Nathan’s mentor on this adventure.
The story revolves around Victor Sullivan, also called “Sully” recruiting Nathan Drake, a street-smart, in an adventure to discover the 500-year-old lost treasure that Ferdinand Magellan and his team gathered long ago.
Moreover, the other cast includes Sophia Taylor Ali as Chloe Frazer, Tati Gabrielle as Braddock, and Antonio Banderas as Santiago Moncada.

Uncharted is directed by Ruben Fleischer, while Rafe Judkins, Art Marcum, and Matt Holloway wrote the film’s screenplay. Additionally, the screen story is written by Rafe Judkins, Jon Hanley Rosenberg, and Mark D. Walker.
Uncharted is available to watch on DVD, Blu-ray, 4K UHD, and digital.

PlayStation’s Uncharted
This Sony movie did big with a gross of over $400 million at the box office. As of now, there is no news on a sequel film yet, but the film’s post-credits scene (maybe!) is quite a tease for another film, maybe an Uncharted 2? We hope we can find out soon!
However, speaking of Uncharted 2, the Uncharted film announcement happened shortly after the release of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves on PlayStation 3 and became a hit with both Sony and Naughty Dog.
