Nintendo may not have introduced an extra character in Mario 3D World, suggests game files
A data mine of Nintendo’s Mario 3D World Switch port has revealed plans for a sixth character, reports VGC. The character may have not been introduced into the game for reasons yet unknown.
First discovered by twitter user Nickolox, the files are supposedly related to the character Toadette, initially intended to be a playable character. The individual also said that they have also found 214 player animations for the character and a voice line. There are, however, no character models.
