Nioh 2 Won’t Have An Easy Mode, Will Help Players In Other Ways
Difficulty in video games has been a talking point for a long time. While difficult games have their own niche, some people demand it to be made accessible for others. Soulsborne games have been talked about the most as far as difficulty is concerned. And, Nioh 2 is not an exception.
Tokyo Games Show is going on and Sony Interactive Entertainment held a closed-door presentation in the event. During the event, Producer Fumihiko Yasuda was asked to comment on the game’s difficulty level, and whether an easy mode is included. He denied the presence of any easy mode as such, but, he assured other ways of helping players. He said:
“The game is a so-called Masocore game, so we want the difficulty to be the same for everyone, even if you may be able to see people beat the bosses on YouTube and that sort of stuff.
Yet we do have things to help out players, for example the Benevolent Graves and three-player multiplayer, and we do think those will be a big helping hand for people to beat the game.”
