One Piece Odyssey: Gameplay Reveals Free Roam and an Explosive Adventure! (Anime Expo 2022)
Anime Expo, North America’s largest event devoted to manga and anime culture, was organized from July 1 to 4, 2022. Naturally, the next video game that pays tribute to the Mugiwara crew deserves its day in the spotlight. The length of a gameplay session has the potential to provide light on a wide range of One Piece Odyssey’s gameplay and mysteries. Let’s take a look! 👹
A few weeks ago, Eiichiro Oda’s Wano Kuni storyline concluded with a superb finale that boosted his notoriety. Since its last issue, the manga has been taking a pause to recharge its batteries for its next release. It’s not only that the episodes will resume that everyone is looking forward to. Within a few months, a new RPG (role-playing game) based on the world of One Piece will be released. Additionally, One Piece Odyssey employs a template in addition to its original tale, namely: Turn-Based.

A few days before the start of the Anime Expo in Los Angeles, the One Piece Odyssey creators, who have been working on the game for the past five years, revealed some details about the game’s goals and showed off some screenshots. New Straw Hat adventures are certain to be exciting.

We had a glimpse of One Piece Odyssey’s popularity back when the teaser was unveiled during the Summer Game Fest event in June. Very recently, fans of Eiichiro Oda’s work were also treated to a lengthy gaming segment at the Anime Expo.
Tactical Combat
For a while now, people have been talking about One Piece Odyssey. Immediately following the 11 minutes of developer remarks is an 18-minute gameplay clip that gets us right to the core of the game. Our journey through Waford’s world is intensified once we put ourselves in the shoes of Luffy.

The journey to rescue Nami from Del Kong is ready with a design that pays homage to the spirit of the final Dragon Quest. The adventure starts after a brief look at the team’s composition and the few options focused on the stats of each of the characters.
One Piece Odyssey: Luffy and His Crew
With several stumbling blocks to overcome and a few scattered items to gather along the route, our four characters are forced to rely on their most potent abilities to get the job done in turn-based combat. The crew has found out a way to rescue Nami before the time runs out. Luffy has the ability to use a skill that attacks many enemies simultaneously.

Furthermore, a system of strengths and weaknesses has been devised so that the loyal friends of the future King of the Pirates can fight off enemies.
