Some fans are playfully suggesting that Oshi No Ko’s hiatus might just be due to the author’s extended Apex Legends gaming session. And to be fair, the timing lines up. Apex Legends recently rolled out a new season with fresh content (a new character, map, and weapons), so its plausible that Akasaka just needed a minute to sit down and enjoy the game.

Oshi No Ko Chapter 126 New Release Date: When will the manga be back from hiatus?
- Oshi No Ko will return from its hiatus with Chapter 126 on 14th September 2023, at 12 AM JST in the Weekly Young Jump Issue #45. The chapter will be available to read for free on Shueisha’s MANGAPlus App (available for both iOS and Android) as well as on the Viz Media website.

What is the Oshi No Ko mini-series about?
As we wait for Oshi No Ko to return, there’s a new treat in store – a mini-series by manga artist Mengo Yokoyari called “Oshi no Ko -interlude-.” This short series is like a little side story while we wait for the main manga to come back. It’s planned to have four chapters that will keep us entertained until the main story continues.
- A leak has confirmed that the mini-series will turn the spotlight to Mem-Cho’s past. It will follow Mem-Cho’s decision to focus on making money instead of being an Idol, and what led to her realizing that she should come back to her childhood dream.
