Good news to all Persona video game fans, the long wait is coming to an end. Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal are all coming to Nintendo Switch. So mark your calendars for the upcoming dates. Here’s what we know so far.
Japanese video game developer of Persona, Atlus announced the exciting news yesterday, June 28 with its teaser. Persona 5 Royal is set to be released on October 21, 2022. While Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden’s release dates are yet to be announced. But it may soon arrive in 2023.
This announcement also came from the recent Nintendo Direct Mini on June 28 as well.

Persona 3 Portable
- First released way back in 2009 in Japan and it has a similar setting to Persona 3.
Persona 4 Golden
- It was released in 2012 and is the enhanced version of the Persona 4.
Persona 5 Royal
- Persona 5 Royal is the latest release of the Persona video game series. It was released in 2019 and is also the enhanced version of Persona 5.
All 3 of these Persona games were first released in Japan and then worldwide. Take note that all of these games are also available in Japanese and English languages as you play.
