Pokemon Go: Akala Adventure Special Research – All Details

During the Lush Jungle Event, An Akala Adventure was released as a Special Research tale. This Special Research is available to all Pokémon GO Trainers for free, and it exposes the player to Akala Island, the second island in the Alola area.

You’ll learn more about Tapu Lele, Akala Island in the Alola Region, and the Pokémon that live there during this Special Research. You must finish these four steps to complete the AKALA ADVENTURE Special Research.

TASK REWARDS
  • Catch 10 Pokémon – 10 Poké Balls
  • Complete 3 Field Research tasks – Pikachu encounter
  • Catch 7 different species of Pokémon – 5 Pinap Berries
 500 XP, 500 Stardust, and Fomantis encounter
  • Use 4 Berries to help catch Pokémon – Parasect encounter
  • Catch 2 Water-type Pokémon – Alomomola encounter
  • Take 3 snapshots of Fire-type Pokémon – Alolan Marowak encounter
 500 XP, 500 Stardust, and 1 Charged TM
  • Power up Pokémon 5 times – 7 Razz Berries
  • Walk 2km – 10 Poké Balls
  • Take 3 snapshots of wild Pokémon – 10 Nanab Berries
 1000 XP, 1000 Stardust, and 1 Premium Battle Pass
  • Send 5 Gifts to friends – 10 Great Balls
  • Catch 15 Pokémon – 7 Pinap Berries
  • Win a raid – Alolan Diglett encounter
 8000 XP, 3000 Stardust, and 15 Ultra Balls

While this is a unique research quest that you can accomplish at your leisure, we recommend finishing it before Wednesday, June 1st. You’ll get free entrance to the end-of-season event if you finish this, as well as the other three Alola region-themed research tasks.
