Something’s coming — Pokémon Go teases Ultra Beasts addition in the game and here’s what we know so far. See the teaser here on Pokémon Go‘s official Twitter!
Pokémon Go’s official YouTube channel posted a teaser with the title “Ultra Beasts and the GO Ultra Recon is here!”.
The video showed an Ultra Beast, Nihilego, and the Parasite Pokemon. They are yet to reveal when and how the other Ultra Beasts are joining the mobile game. Nonetheless, here is some information about these newest creatures in the world of Pokémon Go.
Ultra Beasts and Ultra Wormholes

Ultra Beasts homes in another world and are known for being hugely powerful Pokémons.
They are first featured in the Pokémon lore, in Pokémon Sun and Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. In line with that, Alola is part of the Sun and Moon, and as the season was concluded, it is a start for these Legendary Pokémons.
On June 4th, an update on Pokémon Go Fest 2022 mentioned a mystery that trainers anticipate. See Pokémon Go live’s update.
Ultra Wormholes are gateways into Ultra Space, a different world from ours where different creatures including Ultra Beasts appear. In line with this, wormholes look like mysterious rings in the skies. Furthermore, it serves as a passage for Ultra Beasts to appear in our world.
Additionally, Trainers should carefully approach the Ultra Wormholes because of their danger. See the video here.
Through five-star raids on June 5, Nihilego was the first Ultra Beast to step into our world. Moreover, there are a total of 11 Ultra Beasts in the Pokémon universe which are yet to be announced to join Nihilego sometime.
Pokémon are yet to be added (hopefully!) the remaining Ultra Beasts, Blacephalon, Buzzwole, Celesteela, Guzzlord, Kartana, Naganadel, Pheromosa, Poipole, Stakataka, and Xurkitree.
Special Research: Ultra Recon Squad

Moving on, a new Special Research is available that introduces the Ultra Wormholes. Moreover, the Ultra Recon Squad, where all Trainers may complete tasks, and investigate these Ultra Wormholes. The Ultra Recon Squad members are Dulse, Zossie, Soliera, and Captain Phyco.
In addition, the first set of Special Research of the Ultra Recon Squad facilitates day two of Go Fest 2022 in Professor Willow’s absence. On this note, Pokémon Go is a free-to-play application and is available both on the App Store and Google Play.
Also, you may discover new Pokémons with every turn of your gadgets. There are in-app purchases available for players to enhance their Pokémon Go experience!
