October is just around the corner which means a new Community Day is coming too. If you’ve been playing Pokemon GO for quite a while now, you know what this day means! By the way, have you caught Roggenrola last September 18th? In case you missed it, the Rock-type Pokemon was featured in the September Community Day. We hope you get to evolve it to Gigalith too! Pokemon GO October 2022 Community Day
Get your smartphones ready as the October 2022 Community Day is coming your way on Saturday, October 15th. The event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This also means that a featured Pokemon is coming. Have you placed your bets on who it is? Let’s all welcome the Candle Pokemon, Litwick, in Pokemon GO!
Featured Pokemon and Attack
- The Featured Pokemon — Litwick arrives with featured attacks. The Candle family starts from Litwick, then at Level 41 evolves to Lampent. Its final form is Chandelure.
- With this month’s Community Day, evolve Lampent to its final evolution to get a Chandelure that knows the Charged Attack Poltergeist.
- This attack damages 140 power in Trainer battles, gyms, and even raids.
Bonus Raid Battles
- Bonus Raid battles are coming after the time of the event. Explore around from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time to participate in Four-Star raids.
- And while we’re at the evolution line of Litwick, we’re talking about getting Lampent in the four-star raids!

- Do remember that you can only join these Raid Battles using the Raid Passes and Premium Raid Passes, Trainers!
More about the Community Day
The special research story entitled Field Notes – Trick of Light arrives on Community Day for interested Trainers. All you need is $1.00 USD (check the equivalent in your local currency!) to access the research story.
- Once the tickets go live, you may purchase them already. Pokemon GO team reminds the Trainers, “you’re now able to purchase and gift tickets to any of your friends that you’ve achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.” Enjoy the Special Research Story, Trainers!
Event Bonuses
Pokemon GO events are made completed (and perfect) by the event bonuses. For this October 2022 Community Day, here’s the list of what you can expect!
- 3× XP for catching Pokemon
- 2× Candy for catching Pokemon
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive XL Candy from catching Pokemon
- Lure Modules and Incense activated last for three hours during the event
- Don’t forget to take photos during the event for surprises!
- Lastly, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time, one additional Special Trade can be made in a day (maximum of two for the day), and Trades would only require half (50% less) Stardust.

If you want to battle, trade, or join Raid battles on Community Day with other Trainers, you may do so. You may want to check out the Community Day map!
- Head over to the Community Day Parks, which are mostly historical places according to the Pokemon GO team.
- Find the nearest park on your map and enjoy Pokemon GO with other Trainers while exploring these Community Day Parks!
