This year was full of splendid games and events. As we all know, the end of the year hosts several awarding events. We have already experienced the Golden Joysticks Awards. Coming up, is the Game Awards will be hosted by Geoff Keighley. The nominated games for Games Award 2021 will compete to win in their categories!
You all might be praying for your favorite game to win but Xbox head Phil Spencer had declared his game of the year. It is none other than Psychonauts 2. Notably, this game has won the Xbox Game of the Year at the Golden Joystick Awards.
While in an appearance Larry Hyrb, a.k.a. Major Nelson’s 20th-anniversary video special Phil Spencer had admitted that Psychonauts 2 is probably his game of the year. As per his opinion, this game was the best ever game shipped by Double Fine.
“Frankly for me [Psychonauts 2] is probably my game of the year – just fantastic game… In my view, as a fan of Double Fine, the best game that they’ve ever shipped.”
