It looks like Dragon Ball Z isn’t done with collaborations yet as they are teaming up with PUBG Mobile next year to bring Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero to the battlefield! This collaboration was announced over a month ago and we’re already drawing near to when this special event goes live in PUBG Mobile. What can players expect from this collaboration? If we take a look at the arrival of Dragon Ball Z in Fortnite, it’s safe to say that we will get new content in the battle royale game. Expect new cosmetics, skins, and limited-time events once Dragon Ball Z arrives in the mobile battle royale game!
What is the PUBG Mobile x Dragon Ball Z collab?
PUBG Mobile is no stranger to collaborating with anime franchises. Some of the most notable anime collaborations we got in the hit battle royale game are Neon Genesis Evangelion and Jujustu Kaisen. Aside from big anime franchises, PUBG Mobile regularly teams up with KPop girl group BLACKPINK. These collaborations usually have new skins up for grabs as well as themed events that players can take part in during matches.

- The collab between the battle royale and Dragon Ball Z will happen in 2023
- Before this announcement, Fortnite has already collaborated with Dragon Ball Z and brought iconic characters such as Goku into the game
- Following this collaboration, a lot of players were quick to make Goku do the silly emotes in Fortnite
- Collabs that the game had with other shows like Arcane included a limited-time themed map. The Arcane crossover in PUBG Mobile added a floating island to the mix. This definitely mixed up things for players in regard to their strategy and overall gameplay to get that sweet, sweet chicken dinner
Everything to expect in this collaboration
At the moment, not much is known about what will officially arrive in PUBG Mobile once this crossover happens. PUBG Mobile has been mum about any information and it’s understandable since this will take place sometime next year.
One important thing to note is the promo art used in PUBG Mobile’s tweet announcing the collaboration. The image featured in the tweet is from the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero film. With that, it’s safe to say that the theme of the collaboration will revolve around the anime movie.

It might take a while before DBZ arrives in PUBG Mobile, but we’re already looking forward to it
Make sure to keep yourself updated on when this crossover will take place! The DBZ x Fortnite collab was enjoyable, to say the least. We got to see Goku dishing out some Fortnite dance moves and we also had the ability to Kamehameha Wave our enemies on the island!
PUBG Mobile x Dragon Ball Z is scheduled to happen in 2023. As for an official release date, we have yet to hear from Tencent about any updates on this crossover. Fingers crossed that it won’t be as weird as the Neon Genesis Evangelion one, though.
