PUBG’s New Map Miramar Will Be Playable On XBOX Tomorrow

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has become a worldwide sensation lately.

With its player-reach catapulting over one million concurrent players worldwide, it has dwarfed even two of the greatest games on Steam that had retained their position before PUBG’s release.

For the infamous PlayerUnknown, who was also involved in the development of the former Battle Royale, H1Z1, his efforts have indeed bore the fruits of labour.

PUBG initially started out with one map. However, the recent announcement of a second potential map made a few months ago had players boarding the hype train.

Bluehole named it Miramar and delivered it in December 2017. But the expansion of the PUBG onto consoles was what delayed Miramar’s port to the XBOX.

It was yesterday, that the exhilarating news reached my ears. Miramar, which was scheduled to be released this May, has been extended to the XBOX test servers for play-testing and has its shutters open until 29th of April.

Through a developer update, the developers have formally asserted that the Miramar test servers will be free to download from the Microsoft Store, exclusively for XBOX players.

The developers will task the play-testers to scrutinize the map in order to track down bugs for fixing later.

• U.S. (PDT) Schedule
  • 4/25, 4/26, 4/27: Servers available 5pm PDT through 11 p.m. PDT
  • 4/28 & 4/29: Servers available 11am PDT through 11 p.m. PDT
• Europe (CEST) Schedule
  • 4/26, 4/27, 4/28: Servers available 2 am CEST through 8 a.m. CEST
  • 4/28 & 4/29: Servers available 8pm CEST through 8 a.m. CEST
