Reckoning Esports Abandon Their DOTA 2 Roster
In what seems to be a shocking turn of events, Reckoning Esports officially let go of all of the players of their DOTA 2 squad. In an official post by their Facebook handle, the reason for the sudden release of the players was cited as “a difference between the players and the organization”.
Reckoning had a pretty decent run in the Indian as well as Myanmar DOTA 2 esports scene while it existed. The squad had won the Myanmar Electronic Sports League recently and had a decent performance in the ESL India Premiership.
The main cause for the release of the roster seemed to be a conflict between the players and the organization. The post does state that it “wasn’t the end of the line” for the organization’s target at getting a spot at the TI10 playoffs, with the promise for “exciting announcements” in the near future.
