Record of Ragnarok Season 2

Record of Ragnarok is insane yet thrilling with its concept of humans and Gods having duels to their deaths. In Season 1’s finale, we saw hot tides favored the humans to win one fight against the Gods. Although the humans are in a difficult spot, the second and third battles passed an impact and roused the humans to strive for more.

  • But the wait for the viewers is over. Record of Ragnarok II will be released on January 26, 2023.
  • Though the number of episodes is fifteen, only the first ten will be released on that day. The remaining five will be released sometime within 2023.
  • The opening song “Rude, Loose Dance” by Minami plays in the background of the video. While Masatoshi Ono performed the ending song “Inori“.

The first season had three fights in the line-up, and season 2 will likely follow the same. This season will bring more battles as the tournament has to continue to see if the humans can win against the gods. Also to save their existence for another 1000 years.

  • We might see three amazing fights that will happen between the human “Jack the Ripper” and the god “Heracles.”
  • From that point, Raiden Tameemon will take on the god Shiva, and Buddha battles against the god Bishamonten.

These forthcoming fights will be intriguing to witness if the human heroes can make a way to victory against all the odds.

Why is Record of Ragnarok banned in India?

The first season never made it to India when it released in June last year. Despite being listed on Netflix before release. Rajan Zed, President of the Universal Society of Hinduism, stated in October 2020 that the manga portrayed the Hindu Gods and Goddesses wrongly. And also to stop representing the teachings of Hindu incorrectly – According to News Fetcher

When the first trailer released, Shiva’s angry face seemed to be showcased but later got removed. This issue has driven the streaming platform to avoid releasing the anime in India.

Will the second season air in India?

The portrayal of Shiva in the story is viewed as a misrepresentation of Hinduism in well-known media by its followers. The anime will probably keep on being banned as long as Shiva remains in the picture.
