Red Dead Online Leaves Beta; Massive Title Update Announced
Just as I wrote earlier today, Red Dead Online was expected to leave beta this quarter. Turns out, it was scheduled for today. Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Online has finally left beta with a massive “Title Update” with new missions, free roam activities, poker, dynamic events and much more.
“A massive thank you to everyone who participated during the beta period,” Rockstar wrote in the announcement post. “Your feedback has been instrumental in helping us fine tune the game so far with many of your suggestions implemented in today’s update, and we will continue to implement more of your feedback in future updates to come.”
Rockstar is jam-packed with new content for Red Dead Online. Starting from A Land of Opportunities, where the revenge saga of Jessica LeClerk will continue with new missions for both honorable and dishonorable players, to free roam missions, dynamic events, poker, Overrun Shadow Mode, the new LeMat Revolver, more clothing options and balancings and improvements.
In addition, PlayStation 4 users without a PlayStation Plus subscription can go on a ride in Red Dead Online from now until May 27th. Rockstar is calling it a “special bonus period”, possibly to attract more players to join the subscription program and get hooked to riding horses, creating posses and engaging in epic showdowns.
